How many people are usually on the tour?


It depends! When things are back to normal, up to 10 people will be allowed on the tour at one time. However, with COVID-19 protocols in place, we only allow six people per tour unless they book in a family group. In which case, we will allow up to ten total passengers.




Can I join another person's tour group?


You may absolutely join another person's tour group, as long as they give consent.




When do you offer tours?


Our tours are currently running from Wednesday to Sunday from 10am - 6pm Currently Our schedule for tours are: - Classic Educational Tour - 10am- Noon - Jazz Culture & Cannabis Tour 12:30pm-2:30pm - Beer Bud & Bites Tour - 3pm-6pm




What kind of vehicle will the tours use?


Chi High Tours is Chicago's first luxury tour. As such, our tours operate out of Mercedes Benz Sprinters & Cadillac Escalades, depending on the size of your group.




Are the tours handicap accessible?


Currently our vehicles are not ADA compliant. However, we will have ADA vehicles starting in Summer of 2021. We apologize for any inconvenience!




What's not included in the tour price?


The tour does not include additional food and beverage, parking, or your shopping at the dispensary. You will need to bring additional funds if these are areas you'd like to participate in.




How can I book a tour?


You can book a tour online by visiting our tours page or you can get in touch with us directly to get started.




Should I tip the tour guide?


Feel free to reward your tour guide for their excellent service if you feel they exceeded your expectations and kept you entertained. Tips are not mandatory but heavily encouraged.




How can I pay for the tour?


For online bookings through our website, we accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. For group bookings made by email, phone or fax, the same credit cards are accepted. Company and school checks are also accepted at least two weeks in advance of service. We also offer, Apple Pay and Zelle. However, no cash payments are accepted during day of tour.




Do you offer refunds for cancellations?


We sure do! If for any reason you aren't completely satisfied, please reach out to us directly. Refund request must be made via phone call. Our number is (312) 236-7411. We are open daily from 9am -10pm EST. Refund requests must be made within 48 hours of the tour and must include receipt of purchase. No requests will be considered without your proof of purchase. Refunds are not available on unused segments of a tour or unused admissions.




What if I'm late for the tour?


Our tours run on a tight schedule. If you are late & miss the bus you will not receive any refunds, though you can contact us to reschedule.




Do the tours still run in rain, snow, heat, or cold?


Yes! Our tours still run rain or shine, so be sure to dress appropriately for the weather. However, if the weather is too severe, we'll notify you of postponment and get your tour rescheduled.




How much walking can I expect on the tour?


Our tours are primarily guided through our vehicles, so there will be minimal walking.




What should I bring with me on the tour?


To get on the vehicle, you will need your ID so we can ensure you are 21 or older. If you wish to shop at the dispensaries or grab a bite, you will need to bring some extra cash, too. Other than that, all you'll need is comfortable shoes and appropriate attire for the weather.

Can I bring my service animal on the tour with me?


Currently service animals are prohibited on our tours.




Will I have to wear a mask on the tour?


Yes. Until COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, we will be operating at half capacity and requiring masks on board. If you do not have a mask, we will provide you with one. Masks must be warn at all times during our tours except when consuming beverages, food or cannabis. Please refer to our COVID protocols page for more information.




Can I join a tour late or leave it early?





Are there any age restrictions on who can take the tours?


Yes. All tours are for adults aged 21 or older with a valid ID.




What if I get ill or injured on the trip and become unable to continue?


If you fall ill or injured on one of our tours, one of our secondary vehicles will meet us and we will take you to the nearest Urgent Care center. If your injuries or illness are too severe, we will call on Emergency Medical Technicians to assist us.
